libjpeg62 software package provides Independent JPEG Groups JPEG runtime library (version 6.2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjpeg62
libjpeg62 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjpeg62 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjpeg62 *
You will get with libjpeg62 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
